Adams-ISC Line Boring Services
Over time, hard use and tough working conditions are going to take a toll on your heavy equipment. Wear and tear is unavoidable and even the most rugged machines will need repairs from time to time. Frequent turning and repetitive rotating motions can cause pivot point holes to become oversized, misaligned, and misshaped.
Line boring is a welding and machining process to repair holes that have been worn beyond tolerance parameters. This is done by building up the inside diameter of the bore through a welding process and precision machining the hole back to OEM specifications. Once finished, the bore will have a slip fit or press fit to accept new bushings or pins.
