LEESON, a brand of Regal Rexnord, spans more than 6,000 stock AC and DC motors, gearmotors, and variable-speed control solutions. All are built for rugged commercial and industrial applications.

AC/DC Motors

The LEESON motor lineup includes AC and DC designs in sub-fractional through hundreds of horsepower sizes for general purpose use and specific-duty applications. All popular enclosures and configurations are available. For an extra margin of protection from inverter-induced voltage spikes, LEESON’s Inverter Rated Insulation System (IRIS) comes standard on all stock NEMA three-phase motors (1HP and larger).

Adjustable Speed Drives

Speedmaster drives are a perfect fit with many types of LEESON three-phase motors. The Micro Series inverter line is available through 60HP at 230 Volts, and through 150 HP at 460 Volts. Micro Series offers easy-to-use, English programming with built in PID software, making them closed-loop drives. For applications through 25 HP, choose the SM-Plus Inverter. If you require a simple “shaft-turner”, select economical SM-Series drives. Vector inverters with 200% starting torque, running with a vector duty motor, provide full output torque down to 1HZ, in both NEMA 1 and NEMA 4X enclosures. LEESON also has a competitive line of SCR, PWM, Regenerative, and Low Voltage DC Controls.

AC/DC Gearmotors

LEESON right angle and parallel shaft gearmotors are offered in both AC and DC designs. These industrial strength gearmotors are designed for reliability and long life in the toughest applications.

DC Motors

Industrial and commercial design DC Motors for low and high voltage applications typically requiring speed adjustment, constant torque throughout speed range, and reversing capabilities. Designs include permanent magnet, explosion proof, IEC, and washdown rated motors.

Definite Purpose AC Motors

Motors constructed to meet varying application needs ranging from automotive duty, aggregate duty, air compressors, pressure washers, unit handling, to woodworking motors, and more.

Explosion Proof Motors

Specialized motors for hazardous environments where fire or explosive agents are present. LEESON explosion proof motors meet varying electrical codes including UL Division I or Division I.

Farm/Agriculture Motors

LEESON Farm/Ag motors are designed, engineered, and built to handle high-starting loads and severe-duty applications. Designs include general purpose, crop dryer, auger drives, fan ventilation, grain stirring, and more.

Severe Duty Motors

Special Voltage Motors

Variable Speed Motors

Inverter or vector duty motors designed for use in constant torque speed control applications found on conveyors, material handling, pumps, and fans. Models feature varying speed ranges including 4:1, 10:1, 1000:1, and 2000:1 and offer encoders or encoder provisions.

Washdown Motors

LEESON Washguard motors can handle applications with an occasional splash or continuous washdown. Choose a solution that is USDA approved, FDA approved, BISSC certified, or has an IP69 enclosure protection.
